Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Limancepte.com ("Platform"), we aim to provide our customers with the highest quality yacht and boat rental service. The cancellation and refund policy below applies to all reservations. By making a reservation, you are deemed to have accepted this policy.

1. Service Fee

Limancepte.com operates as an intermediary platform. 20% of the total amount is charged as a service fee on each reservation.

The service fee is non-refundable in all of the following cases:

  • Cancellation by the customer
  • Cancellation due to weather conditions
  • Cancellation by the boat owner
  • Force majeure cancellations
  • Whether the tour takes place or not
  • Whether an alternative boat is offered and accepted or not

The service fee covers reservation coordination, communication with the boat owner, transfer organization, payment processing, customer support, and all administrative costs.

2. Deposit Policy

To confirm the reservation, 25% of the amount is collected as a deposit. This deposit:

  • Confirms the reservation
  • Refundable portion: The amount remaining after the service fee is deducted from the total deposit
  • Non-refundable portion: Service fee (20% of the total amount)

3. Cancellation by the Customer

When the customer cancels by their own choice, the following tiered policy applies:

30 days or more before the tour date 100% of the deposit refunded (excluding service fee)
15-29 days before the tour date 50% of the deposit refunded (excluding service fee)
7-14 days before the tour date 25% of the deposit refunded (excluding service fee)
7 days or less before the tour date No refund
No-show No refund

4. Cancellation Due to Weather Conditions

4.1 Boat Owner/Captain Decision

The captain or boat owner decides whether weather conditions are unsafe. Safety is always our priority.

4.2 Customer Rights in Case of Weather Cancellation

If the tour does not take place due to weather, the customer is offered the following options:

A) Tour Postponement: The tour is postponed free of charge to another date suitable for both the customer and the boat owner.

B) Alternative Boat: A boat of the same quality or higher category is offered, if available.

C) Refund: If the above options are not accepted:

  • The service fee (20%) is non-refundable
  • After deducting the expenses incurred (cake, decoration, transfer organization, etc.), the remaining amount is refunded within 7-14 business days

4.3 Customer's Personal Weather Concern

When the weather is deemed safe, if the customer cancels due to their personal weather concern, the standard cancellation policy in Article 3 applies.

5. Provision of Alternative Boat

If the original boat cannot sail for any reason, Limancepte.com reserves the right to offer an alternative boat of the same quality or higher category.

  • If the customer accepts the alternative boat: The tour proceeds normally.
  • If the customer rejects the alternative boat: The service fee is non-refundable. The remaining amount is refunded according to Article 3.

6. Cancellation by the Boat Owner

If the boat owner cancels without a valid force majeure reason:

  • An equivalent or higher category alternative boat is offered
  • If the alternative is not accepted: The total amount excluding the service fee is refunded within 7-14 business days

7. Remaining Payment

The remaining payment of the reservation is made in cash on the boat on the day of the tour.

  • Credit/debit cards are not accepted on the boat
  • The amount of the remaining payment is the amount specified in the reservation confirmation

8. Extra Services and Expenses

Expenses for the following extra services are non-refundable:

  • Birthday cake and decoration
  • Private vehicle transfer (Mercedes Sprinter, etc.)
  • Special food and beverage requests
  • Special celebration arrangements
  • Gift/surprise organizations

These expenses are outside the scope of refund as they are incurred even if the tour does not take place.

9. Refund Process and Duration

  • After the refund is approved, it is refunded to the same card used for payment
  • Refund processing time: 7-14 business days
  • The time for the refund to appear in your account may vary due to interbank transfer times
  • The service fee is non-refundable under any circumstances
⚠️ IMPORTANT: ABOUT DEPOSIT REFUND

In reservation cancellations, except for force majeure, the deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is held continuously because the reservation is reserved in your name and the service is planned specifically for you. In cancellations other than force majeure, refund of the deposit is not possible. We kindly ask you to consider this before making a reservation.

10. About Chargeback (Card Dispute)

By accepting this policy and making a reservation, the customer declares that they will contact Limancepte.com before resorting to a bank card dispute (chargeback). For chargeback requests opened without a valid excuse, we reserve the right to initiate legal proceedings.

11. Disputes

The laws of the Republic of Türkiye apply to disputes arising from this policy, and the courts of Antalya have jurisdiction.

12. Policy Changes

Limancepte.com reserves the right to update this policy without prior notice. However, updates do not apply retroactively; the policy provisions in effect on the reservation date apply.
